The first is the sales and distribution of sawmill parts and machinery. The second is a machine shop that designs, produces and/or rebuilds machined components used in the forestry and pulp and paper industry. PG Mill Supplies Ltd. acts as a full-service centre for the needs of Northern BC's milling, mining and petroleum operations. The primary services provided by PG Mill Supplies are machining and the sales and distribution of parts and equipment. There also exist two operational divisions to the company: PG Hard Chrome Inc. and RB Tools & Fabrication Ltd. Together under one roof, we are able to provide an all-inclusive service to our valued customers. Through our fully equipped machine, chrome and fabrication shops, we can efficiently manage your project or repair from start to finish. A few years later, Bruce Sutherland joined the Management Team with a background in Mill Management. Together, Gerry and Bruce expanded the company to include parts & equipment sales, on-site service and training. Through the nineties and into the new millennium, PG Mill Supplies Ltd. has continued to grow and thrive, driven by an innovative and forward-thinking Management Team and a growing team of dedicated employees.PG Mill Supplies Ltd. is still privately owned and operated by Gerry Bergeron, VP Manufacturing and Bruce Sutherland, VP Sales & Marketing. Through company-wide adoption of a continuous improvement philosophy, PG Mill Supplies now offers equipment improved through custom made machine retrofits. These retrofits allow machines to be more accurate and efficient, decreasing wear and increasing safety.PG Mill Supplies Ltd. expanded operations in 2001 to include PG Hard Chrome Inc, a sister company geared toward increasing service to current clients as well as the mining and oil & gas industries. PG Hard Chrome Inc. specializes in chrome plating of manufactured components.On May 1, 2004, operations were expanded even further with the addition of a third division - RB Tools & Fabricating. RB Tools is a full-service fabrication facility that has traditionally targeted logging and sawmilling clientele. The addition of this established fabrication shop allows PG Mill Supplies to provide customers with an all-encompassing project solution.The client base at PG Mill Supplies is made up primarily of sawmills, planer mills, and pulp & paper mills in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and secondarily in Eastern Canada and the United States, as well as a growing number of mines and oil & gas operations. Exporting has also begun to Australia and New Zealand.
